The pool area is surprisingly small for a landmark hotel. Given its downtown location, expect it to be packed during summer months, making it less appealing. Various common areas, including the elevator and spa, could use a thorough cleaning—overflowing debris detracts from the experience. Also, it’s not the best if you need a spotlessly clean room, as a few guests reported dirt and unclean carpets, which is pretty off-putting. Plus, some guests had mixed experiences with their upgraded room views turning out to be disappointing, as claimed views appeared limited or non-existent.

I appreciated the warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the hotel, especially how easy it was to navigate the space with my mobility. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, ensuring I had everything I needed during my stay.
